Local, licensed, and dedicated to quality.
Wallace Chimney and Dryer Vent Inc has been serving Cinnaminson and the surrounding South Jersey communities for decades, specializing in the unique challenges of older homes with brick chimneys and masonry fireplaces. Many of the homes in this area were built in the mid-20th century, when chimney construction relied on solid brick and clay flue liners, materials that require precise care to stay safe and efficient. We focus on the details that other chimney sweeps overlook, like mortar joint integrity, liner cracks, and the subtle signs of water damage that can turn a minor issue into a costly repair. If your chimney has seen better days, we’ll diagnose the root cause and restore it to working order without unnecessary upsells.
Unlike generic crews, we treat Cinnaminson’s older homes like the brick-and-mortar time capsules they are. We don’t just sweep the flue; we inspect the entire structure, from the crown to the smoke chamber, to catch problems before they become emergencies. Older homes in this area often have quirks, like uneven brickwork or hidden gaps in the masonry, that can trap moisture or allow drafts. Our team is trained to spot these issues during a standard sweep, and we’ll recommend targeted repairs if needed. Whether it’s a creosote buildup, a failing liner, or a chimney that’s never been properly maintained, we’ll give you an honest assessment and a clear plan to keep your fireplace safe for years to come.
Beyond chimneys, we also handle dryer vent cleaning for Cinnaminson homes, where lint buildup and poor ventilation can turn a simple laundry day into a fire hazard. Many homeowners don’t realize how quickly dryer vents clog, especially in older houses with longer vent runs or sharp bends, and how that affects both safety and energy costs. We use rigid-rod cleaning methods to cut through stubborn blockages, and we’ll check for hidden issues like rodent nests or disconnected ducts that could be causing problems. Our goal is to make sure your chimney and dryer vents work as they should, so you can enjoy your home without worrying about hidden risks. Call us for a thorough inspection, and we’ll explain exactly what needs attention.
Not all chimneys are built the same, especially in a town like Cinnaminson where many homes have original brickwork and no liners. We’ve seen the quirks of these chimneys, uneven joints, hidden creosote pockets, and drafts that defy logic. Our team is trained to spot issues others miss, whether it’s a loose cap, a cracked flue, or a vent that’s too small for your fireplace. We don’t treat every chimney like a cookie-cutter job; we treat it like the unique piece of history it is.
You won’t find a chimney sweep in Cinnaminson who isn’t properly licensed and insured, and we’re no exception. Our crew is trained to work safely on your property, and we carry full insurance to protect you from liability. Plus, we stand by our work with a satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy with the results, we’ll come back and fix it. That’s not just a promise; it’s our reputation on the line. We’ve been serving Cinnaminson for years, and our work speaks for itself.
Some chimney sweeps push unnecessary repairs or upsell services you don’t need. We don’t do that. If your chimney just needs a cleaning, we’ll tell you that. If it needs a liner or a repair, we’ll explain why and give you a fair price. Our goal is to keep your home safe and your chimney working right, not to sell you more than you need. That’s why homeowners in Cinnaminson trust us with their fireplaces and vents.
Chimney fires don’t follow a schedule, and neither do we. If you notice smoke in your room, a cracked chimney, or a dryer that’s taking forever to dry clothes, call us. We’ll respond quickly to assess the problem and get you a solution. No long waits, no runaround, just a direct line to someone who knows how to handle it. That’s the kind of service Cinnaminson homeowners expect, and it’s the kind we deliver.
